The Nigerian rapper and songwriter from Uyo, Akwa Ibom has just released his new EP, Pappybryce Is The Name. With 7 songs and a total playtime of 16 minutes, this project is short but filled with meaning.
Pappybryce is known for his unique rap style and powerful storytelling, and this E.P is no exception. The EP features collaborations with Emly, Roner, and BlvckRue, adding even more variety to the project. It also brought together talented songwriters like Marzu Matthew, Gideon Kelvin Leo (with beats by Trbl), and Bisade Philips Judah which contributed to this project.
Pappybryce is inspired by lyrical giants like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and JID, and his sound is seasoned with the Afrobeat vibrance of Burna Boy and Rema. He blends thoughtful rap with Afrobeat influences, creating music that is deeply personal, widely relatable, and sure to leave a lasting impression on listeners.
